Smart home technology is so addictive. Sometimes you just want the latest gadget you spotted in a magazine or YouTube video. Other times, you're enticed by a great deal you found somewhere. Before you know it, you have a ton of great products in your Amazon cart and it's delivered in a day or two right to your door. It's so simple, and so easy.
Our very first customer phone call went exactly like this, see if you can relate:
"Thank you for calling ONE SMART HOME. This is David, how can I help you?"
"Hi David, my name is Jennifer. My boyfriend and I are not techie people. We have a Nest thermostat on the wall and I'm hoping you can come and teach us how to use it. Also, he loves smart home technology and keeps ordering more so we have a stack of boxes in the corner that we don't know how to install. I'm hoping you can make it all work and tell us what else we need."
